If He Said It, He Will Reveal It

The Testimony

For a few days now, I have been wrestling with a question I did not expect. I am writing book after book, back to back. Somewhere in the middle of the drafts and deadlines I set for myself, a thought crept in: Is this me, or is this God?

I took it to my Pastor. She said something I have not been able to shake: If it is in you to do this, you must do it now. There is a time and a season for each book. Some will fit the exact situation someone is walking through right now, and some will not be needed until later. But God always prepares things before they happen.

That word settled something in me. I was measuring urgency against timing as if they were enemies. They are not. Writing now and releasing later are two different obediences, not a contradiction. Habakkuk was told to write the vision and make it plain. Then he was told to wait because the vision was for an appointed time (Habakkuk 2:2-3). He did not write it when it was needed. He wrote it before it was needed, so it would be ready the moment it was.

But God does not call us to figure out His timeline. He calls us to obey what He already said and let Him hold the calendar.

If He said it, He will reveal it. My job is not to interrogate the assignment. My job is to finish it.

The Measure

Stop auditing the calling and start finishing it. Once God has spoken, endless self-questioning is not humility; it is delay wearing a spiritual costume.

Separate Seasons

Separate the writing season from the release season. What you are producing now may not be for now. Trust that God already knows who will need it and when.

Seek Counsel

Get godly counsel when the doubt gets loud. I did not sit alone with this. I took it to my Pastor. Isolation feeds confusion; counsel clarifies it.

Preparation is Key

Remember, He prepares before it happens. "He hath made every thing beautiful in his time" (Ecclesiastes 3:11). Preparation is not wasted time; it is God working ahead of you.

Obey and Understand

Obey now, understand later. Revelation often comes in the doing, not before it. You will not always get the full picture before you are asked to move.

If you have ever wondered whether the thing burning in you is really from God, or whether you are moving too fast, too soon, or too much — you are not alone. I am asking it right alongside you. The answer I keep landing on is the same one I am handing you: If He said it, He will reveal it. Stop trying to figure it out. Start walking it out.

Embracing the Journey

As I continue to write, I find that each word brings me closer to understanding my purpose. The journey of creation is not just about the end product. It is about the lessons learned along the way. Each draft teaches me something new about myself and my relationship with God.

Trusting the Process

Trusting the process can be difficult. I often find myself questioning if I am on the right path. However, I remind myself that every moment spent in creation is a step towards clarity. God is in the details, and He is guiding me through every chapter.

Finding Peace in Uncertainty

In times of uncertainty, I seek peace through prayer and reflection. I remind myself that it is okay to not have all the answers right now. The journey is just as important as the destination. I find comfort in knowing that God is with me every step of the way.

Prayer

Father, in the Name of Jesus, we thank You for the assignments You have placed in us. Forgive us for the times we have confused urgency with disobedience and delay with humility. Teach us to trust Your timing the way we trust Your calling. Where there is confusion, bring clarity. Where there is doubt, bring peace. Let us finish what You started in us, and let us trust You with when it lands in someone else's hands. In Jesus Name, Amen.
