True Freedom

John 8:36 NKJV

[36] If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

July 4th is the day America celebrates 250 years of independence, or freedom. It's a day filled with celebrations all over this nation. Yes, America is a free nation in the natural, but America is in bondage like any other nation that rejects God.

That bondage doesn't always look like chains. It looks like fear disguised as caution, division disguised as conviction, and pride disguised as patriotism. It looks like a people free to worship who no longer gather, free to speak who no longer pray, and free to choose who keep choosing themselves over God. No nation, no government, no political system can be free unless JESUS frees us — because the chains we can't see are the ones that hold the tightest.

In the times we're living in, Jesus should be acknowledged in everything pertaining to life and godliness. And while those who are deceived say that Jesus isn't THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS, I pray that before it's too late, you will accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior. Then, and only then, will man know and experience the life of abundant FREEDOM that JESUS died to give us.

So how does a nation move from bondage to freedom? The same way it fell — one heart at a time. It starts with repentance, not resolutions. It starts with the Church returning to the altar before it returns to activism. It starts with believers who stop asking God to bless what we've built and start asking Him to rebuild what we've broken.

Now that's worth celebrating — not just today, but every day of our lives.

Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they might be saved.

Just like Paul travailed for Israel, my desire and prayer is that AMERICA BE SAVED BY THE TRUE AND ONLY MESSIAH, YESHUA HAMASHIACH. Because a nation that will not turn to Him will eventually be turned over — not out of cruelty, but consequence.

Joshua 24:20 KJV

If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.

This is the warning. But it doesn't have to be our story. The same God who warns is the God who waits — for one nation, one family, one soul at a time to turn back. That turning starts with you.
